Gentle reminder to the reader, socialism at its core means government owning means of production. Between Feeding Our Future, Housing Stabilization Services, the autism programs, Child Care Assistance Programs, Minnesota Promise Act, and now this, I'm not sure our government is doing a bang up job of managing what they've got.
I would love to know why Jeremiah Ellison did nothing to help. He was worthless. Thank God Pearll Warren is there now, she has done more in 6 months for her constituents than Ellison did in 8 years. People need to be held accountable for allowing this to exist. I cannot imagine the health issues these folks are dealing with living in mold infested homes. It’s just shameful.
I agree. Hopefully, Ellison will not try to leverage his name again for future office. If he does, I hope people remember his indifference to the suffering at Heritage Park.
This is kind of a side note, but kind of not….It’s a problem when the main focus of a policy debate is what other customers a vendor serves rather than the actual cost and benefits of a particular policy—in this case drone use. But this is where we are right now. No wonder our government can’t manage itself out of a wet paper sack.
This IS the kind of government the founding fathers wanted citizens to be able to vote OUT OF OFFICE should they not perform their duties. This is also what will continue to happen with the continued majority of Democrat/DSA council members running the city. They constantly complain about the unfairness of society because we have too many billionaires who don’t share. Well what’s the difference between that and a corrupt government spending money they don’t even HAVE to “provide” for the people and they continually fail. They need to be somewhere else.
IF the rich actually paid their share instead of lobbying politicians to write laws to benefit themselves there would be more money for the public good!!

The Ellisons keep coasting on their name, and there is no “there” there.
